Entrepreneurial executive chef Damien Monley has been passionate about produce ever since he was a kid, foraging for ingredients for his family’s restaurant in the beautiful countryside around Wanaka on New Zealand’s South Island. Having turned Sydney’s Flat White Cafe into a favourite of the city’s fashionable Eastern Suburbs, he’s gone on to run several successful Australian restaurant and hospitality businesses.



Smarter than the average neighbourhood restaurant, LIV offers dishes made from the freshest possible ingredients in an atmosphere of easy conviviality. While focusing on British producers, our breakfast, brunch and lunch menus fuse ingredients from all corners of the globe, highlighting Damien’s love of rustic cooking, seasonality, abundance and food with a healthy bias.

LIV’s downstairs walk-in coffee bar welcomes all comers to try a range of expertly pulled espressos and nutritious juices. Boasting our very own grind from a century-old Neapolitan roaster, we also feature guest roasts from artisan brands, chosen by our in-house Italian coffee expert. Complementing the food is a global wine list hand-picked to bring out the flavours in every dish, along with an inspiring range of non-alcoholic drinks.
